Dr. Sherrie Thomas, MD, FACS

About Dr. Sherrie Thomas

Dr. Thomas is a board-certified surgeon from the American Board of Surgery. She specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases of the breast, including benign and malignant diseases, at Texas Oncology. She takes care of her patients from the time of diagnosis to recovery with compassionate care using the latest technologies. She performs both ultrasound guided and stereotactic guided breast biopsies to achieve a quick diagnosis. She has the skill and expertise to provide the best treatment with the most desirable outcomes.

Educational Background

Dr. Thomas received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in zoology from The University of Texas at Austin. She attended the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she completed both her general surgery internship and residency.
